Dr.K.Arunkumar did his M.Sc. and M. Phil Botany from Bharathidasan University. He completed his Ph.D. from Centre for Advanced Studies in Botany, University of Madras, India under the guidance of Algologist Prof. R. Rengasamy. He worked in Rubber Research Institute of India for one and half year during 1997-1999. He has worked as Teacher in Government College under Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service from 1999-2016 for more than 16 years. His main interest has been in the field of diversity, biology and biochemistry of algae. He has special focus on isolation of bioactive compounds from seaweeds and conversion of seaweed biomass to ethanol. He has also having experience on various organic farming techniques. He has published over 40 research papers in journals of International and National repute. He has guided 3 Ph.D. students. He has completed 4 major projects and 1 minor project.

Microbial bioprospecting studies

Dr.T. Ramesh did his M.Sc. and M. Phil in the field of Micro Biology. He completed his Ph.D. in the field of Marine Micro Biology. He has more than 13 years experience in teaching field. He has special focus on Microbial Bioprospecting studies. He has published over 6 research papers in journals of International and National repute. He has guided 3 Ph.D. scholars and Currently he is engaged in 1 major project. He has conducted 2 international conferences and participated in 9 international conferences. He is a life member in Mycological Society of India and Association of Microbiologists of India.
